What information do we collect from you?
When you make a booking with us we collect the name, address, email and phone number of the the person making the booking. We may also ask for your paymentcard details in order to secure the reservation by taking a deposit equal to the first night of your stay, or on departure, when final payment is made using your card,
As with other websites, digital data may be collected when you visit our website, including IP addresses, browser data, traffic data, booking history, social media behaviour and user patterns. This type of information is neither requested nor used by us Belvidere Place
How does Belvidere Place use your personal data?
Your address is needed as part of the authorisation process for your card.
We use your email address to send you our booking confirmationalong with more details about us, and other information that we hope you may find useful for your stay. We normally send a reminder email a few days before you are due to arrive.
Following your visit, you will receive an email from our booking system asking for your feedback on your stay (just so that we can check that everything was okay) and inviting you to stay in contact with us on social media or by email, if you would like to do so.
We will only use your phone number to contact you in case of an emergency, or, if we need to check your expected arrival time with you.
We do not disclose personal data to any third parties or external organisation, other than the following secure data processors which carry out work on our behalf. These are: (1) Inn Style (Staylists Limited) who provide our booking system; (2)MailChimp, our email distributor; and (3) Square UK, who provide secure payment processing for us,
Belvidere Place is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of external sites, even when accessed using links from our website. Guest Registration on Arrival
Lastly, we are also required by law to collect the following information on all our guests. We do this by asking you to complete a registration form on arrival.
For commonwealth guests: guest name(s) and nationality
For non commonwealth guests: name, nationality, passport number and address of your next destination
We will keep these forms, securely, for a period of one year in case they are needed by the police. After one year the forms are destroyed.
Occasionally we may make updates to this privacy policy and any changes will be shown on this web page.
