One of the best boutique B&Bs in the country.  Belvidere Place, situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the sandy beach and a host of well-regarded restaurants, is a quiet revelation.

The Grade II listed Georgian townhouse consists of just five individually decorated guest rooms, with a beautiful dual reception area on the ground floor for breakfast.

Owner Peter is a delightful presence – your correspondent may have enjoyed one too many of Kent’s cask ales on the first night of his stay, but Peter and his team were more than happy to whip up a spectacular, if rather late, breakfast on my eventual emergence.

CITY A.M.

Low-lit and understated… Inside, the dining area is deliciously – and daringly – underlit, while the walls are charcoal grey…Yet far from being gloomy, the room feels warm, contemporary and inviting, centred on a chunky, wooden table, surrounded by vintage swivel chairs and a bench… Only five minutes’ walk from the feted seafront… Belvidere Place enjoys a classic B&B location, but is far from a traditional B&B.

This is seriously the best place we have ever stayed. Everything about our stay was perfect. Lovely rooms, comfy beds, very clean. Breakfast is so good you really don’t need lunch! Peter is extremely friendly & interesting and seems genuinely pleased to have you stay!. If you want to try Broadstairs as a place to visit, staying at the Belvidere will make it truly memorable.

Lovely boutique B&B. This place is great, a really welcoming and homely place to stay. It’s a short walk from the seafront and close to the amenities of Broadstairs. It has stylish decor, the rooms have a mix of quirky antique style furniture. It also has a tranquil garden out the back. Peter is a great host and goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome. He served tasty 2 course breakfasts and offers different food each morning. I’d stay there again just for the brekkie!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful guesthouse. What a treat Belvidere Place was. Our host was gracious and his breakfast was truly delicious. The decor is delightful, the bed was super comfortable and the room contained lots of thoughtful touches. We had a relaxing stay in this charming and characterful B&B and hope to visit again.

Gorgeous treat for our Autumn getaway. This is a truly gorgeous treat of a BnB. We visited in the Autumn so when we weren’t enjoying the restaurants, cinema and coastal walks of Broadstairs (which are all lovely) we enjoyed reading by the fire, as there is a fantastic collection of books, and Peter’s amazing breakfasts.
