My boyfriend and I stayed at Belvidere Place in January and absolutely loved it. Peter looked after us so well and made us feel incredibly welcome and relaxed. The BnB itself is beautiful and tranquil and in a great location in the centre of Broadstairs, a short walk from the beach and attractions. Our room was even better than it looks in the photos - tasteful and arty - and everything, from the bed to the toiletries and snacks provided, was extremely high quality. Breakfast was excellent. We've recommended Belvidere place to family and friends and would love to come back sometime. Thank you Peter and team!
ps during our visit we ate at Wyatt and Jones and Stark, both of which were fantastic.
This was the highlight of our trip to Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate. Peter is charming, relaxed and attentive. The rooms are stunning, immaculately clean and so tastefully fitted. It's minutes from the beach and some cracking restaurants. The breakfasts (served with a pleasing range of newspapers and a calming 'Sunday Morning' atmosphere) were worth the trip on their own; pots of tea, coffee, fruit and yogurt, followed by the best-cooked breakfasts. Everything was done to perfection and top quality ingredients. We left fully relaxed. Nothing was too much hassle. I will definitely be going back again and have already recommended Belvidere Place to friends and family and anyone else who will listen
Belvidere Place Guest Rooms located few minutes from the sandy beach with all it restaurants and shops. Very welcoming and accommodating, the guest house design was wonderfully boutiquey, with dark walls, and quirky furniture with nice garden.
Room 5 located on the top floor, had tea facilities, chocolate and some biscuits. Fluffy towels and REN toiletries in the shower room.
The breakfast was amazing, we got a ‘starter‘ before the main breakfast, which consisted of poached plums with fresh berries and some nuts mixed with yogurt, the portion was large enough to have just that for breakfast.
We loved it, definitely recommend it.
Contacted the host late Friday night who had a room available for the following day.
We were told that if it was easier for us we could check in anytime in the morning which we thought was very accommodating.
On arrival found hotel to be lovely very stylish and clean.
Met with the owner who showed me to my room and gave me a key.
My partner commented on how nice it was to have such quality products left out to use and how well kitted out the room was.
I was worse for ware the following morning and missed breakfast however my partner said that it was amazing, top quality and great choice.
Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.
I wouldn’t call the Belvidere a boutique hotel or bed and breakfast, it's more like a warm, cosy, stylish house that has opened its door to like-minded nice people.
I brought my husband here for his birthday for two nights. On arrival we hardly had time to put our bags down before we were offered a gin and tonic (Monkey 47 no less!). It has 5 rooms, all beautifully decorated in their own unique way. The owner certainly has an eye for style and good taste. The bed was a dream, the room and bathroom were spotless.
Breakfast sets you up for the day with homemade poached seasonal fruits with yogurt, followed by a tasty full English. During breakfast you can sit in the main dining area with others chatting, or you can sit quietly next door in another beautifully decorated room. It’s clear the owner is very good at entertaining with little touches like the welcome drink, the fudge and flowers in the room. We certainly felt relaxed and welcomed during our stay. The Belvidere is a special find and we will be back.
